The Municipal Bond Club of New York
For over 50 years, the MBCNY has hosted this robust educational series, adapting to changing markets and times. This 10 session virtual lecture series will be taught by accomplished industry professionals on topics spanning all aspects of the Municipal Bond Industry. Course topics range from the process of bringing a new issue to market, to bond evaluation and secondary market trading, bond insurance, today’s top market strategies, and more.
While this year has proven difficult to engage new hires virtually, Bond School will be a great addition to new hire training and educational programming, allowing those who are new to Municipals to expand their knowledge of the entire industry. Through weekly quizzes, reading assignments, and interactive course sessions with senior Municipal professionals, Bond School is sure to provide a positive educational experience for all attendees.
Students will also receive a ebook code for The Fundamentals of Municipal Bonds written by SIFMA published by John Wiley and Sons. Included for free with the cost of registration.

We hope you and your family healthy and safe during these uncertain and unprecedented times.
Although it goes without saying that our events for 2020, including Bond School, the Golf Outing and Rooftop Party have been put on hold, we wanted to reach out to all of you and make it official. As this terrible pandemic continues to unfold, and the City and World begin to reopen down the road, we will decide at that point when and if it is safe and appropriate to hold such events.
There is nothing that we could all use more than a good old fashioned Municipal Bond Club Party… and I look forward to getting together with everyone when we can in the future. In the meantime, stay home, stay healthy.
Wishing you all the Best of Health,
John Rocco - 2020 President
and The Board of Governors
